Crafting Brick Variants from Stone Types

Getting Started with Brick Crafting

Brick Variety Mod allows you to convert most stone variants in the game into decorative bricks. To craft bricks, you'll need the raw stone block and access to a crafting table or inventory crafting grid.

Basic Crafting Process

1. Gather your desired stone variant (such as deepslate, blackstone, sandstone, or other stone types available in your world)

2. Open your crafting interface

3. Arrange the stone blocks in the crafting grid according to the recipe pattern—typically a 2×2 square of stone blocks creates a corresponding brick block

4. Collect your newly crafted bricks from the output slot

Tips for Efficient Gathering

Mine stone variants from different biomes and depths to access the full range of brick types. Deepslate bricks work well for dark, underground builds, while sandstone bricks suit desert structures. Keep multiple stone types in your inventory while building so you can switch between brick variants without returning to your storage frequently.

Each stone variant produces bricks with a unique texture and color, giving you plenty of options for detailed architectural designs.
