Getting Started with Brick Hoppers
Brick hoppers work like standard Minecraft hoppers but operate more slowly, making them ideal for controlled item flow in automation systems. They hold only three items at a time, which encourages deliberate routing decisions in your redstone builds.
Place a
brick hopper above a chest or container to begin transferring items. The slower processing speed (compared to vanilla hoppers) makes them useful for pacing item distribution, particularly in medieval or rustic-themed constructions where aesthetics matter. They're compatible with most storage systems, so you can integrate them into complex machinery setups. The reduced slot count means you'll need to plan your item channels carefully, but this constraint can actually improve organization in larger automation networks.
