Combining Break Free With Your Normal Mining and Combat Flow

Where it fits in your routine

Break Free is a quality-of-life tweak, not a new mechanic, so the best way to use it is to stop worrying about item switches during actions you already do. Two places it shines: mining runs where you swap between tools, and combat where you might switch to a weapon mid-swing at a block.

Suggested habits

1. Keep attack held while reorganizing your hotbar. Scroll freely; the block keeps breaking.

2. Start a block, then grab the right tool. If you began with the wrong tool, switch to the correct one without losing the timer.

3. Use it during strip mining. Hold attack, walk forward, and switch tools as needed without re-clicking each block.

4. In combat, switch to a weapon and back. The block you were breaking stays in progress.

Keep expectations realistic: the mod does not increase mining speed, does not let wrong-tier tools drop blocks, and does not change reach or attack cooldowns. It only removes the reset that happens when your held item changes. Treat it as a smoother version of vanilla mining rather than a shortcut, and it will fit naturally into whatever playstyle you already have.
