Troubleshoot Quests Not Appearing or Completing

Check Quest Visibility

If a quest doesn't appear in your task book:

1. Verify the quest pack is enabled using /boundless questpack list

2. Confirm the quest is assigned to an active pack in the editor

3. Check if the quest has a prerequisite that hasn't been completed yet

4. Use /boundless reload to refresh all quest data from the configuration

Fix Completion Issues

If you complete a quest objective but don't receive rewards:

1. Open the quest details and confirm the requirements match what you did

2. For item collection quests, ensure you're holding the exact items specified

3. For mob defeats, verify you're fighting the correct mob type

4. Check that rewards are properly configured in the editor

Reset and Retry

Use /boundless reset <questname> to clear your progress on a specific quest and attempt it again. This helps identify whether the quest mechanics are working or if there's a configuration error.

Reload Configuration

After making changes in the editor, always run /boundless reload to apply updates. Without reloading, new quests or modified rewards may not take effect in-game.
