Manage Quest Packs for Different Game Modes

Understand Quest Packs

Quest packs are groups of related quests that can be toggled on or off. This is useful for running multiple game modes or seasonal events on the same server.

Create and Organize Packs

1. In the quest editor, create a new quest pack and name it (for example: "Survival Mode" or "Creative Challenges")

2. Add your quests to this pack by assigning them during creation

3. Use the pack editor screen to view all quests in a pack and make bulk changes

4. Export your pack configuration so it can be shared or backed up

Enable and Disable Packs

Use commands to control which packs are active:

  • /boundless questpack enable <packname> activates a pack for all players
  • /boundless questpack disable <packname> hides all quests in that pack
  • /boundless questpack list shows all available packs and their status

Switch Between Configurations

Disable one pack and enable another to change the active quest set. Players will see the new quests appear in their task book immediately. This approach keeps your world organized and lets you run different quest lines without cluttering the interface.
