How to Change Your Bed Bounce Height in Bouncier Beds Mod
Finding the Config File
After launching Minecraft once with Bouncier Beds installed, a config file is generated in your config folder inside your game directory. Open it with any plain text editor. You are looking for two entries: bedBounciness and bedsPreventFallDamage.
Adjusting the Values
bedBouncinesscontrols how hard the bed launches you. The default is1.5. Raising this number increases launch height; lowering it makes the bounce gentler.bedsPreventFallDamageis a true/false toggle. Leave ittrueif you want to land safely from extreme heights.
Save the file and reload the world (or restart the game) for changes to apply. If you set bounciness very high, expect to fly far above the build limit, so pair it with fall damage protection on.
Testing Safely
Build a small platform, place a bed, and jump on it in a creative test world first. Tweak the number in small increments rather than jumping straight to extreme values, since very high bounciness can fling you out of loaded chunks or into the void on some worlds. Once you find a value you like, copy that config to other worlds.
