Stopping Boss Music From Playing at Spawn or in the Overworld
Some players hear a boss theme the moment they load a world, or while nowhere near a boss. This is almost always a conflict with another audio mod rather than the boss fight logic itself.
Why It Happens
Mods that manage ambient or situational music, such as Dynamic Surroundings, can trigger music events on their own schedule. When both mods try to control the music channel at once, a boss track can fire outside its fight. The fix is to make sure only one mod owns boss music at a time.
Fixing the Conflict
Open the config for your ambient audio mod and disable its boss or combat music handling, leaving that job to Boss Music Mod. If your audio mod has a biome or structure music list, remove any boss entries from it. Then reload the world and check spawn again.
Verifying
If music still plays at spawn, toggle both boss themes off with their trigger commands and reload. If the stray music stops, the source was the mod's own trigger; if it continues, another mod is responsible. Re-enable the themes once the other mod is configured, and confirm the track only starts when a boss fight actually begins.
