Organizing a Chiseled Bookshelf Library with the Inspector

Because the mod shows each book's title on hover, it doubles as a sorting aid. You can arrange a chiseled bookshelf into a readable library and confirm everything is in the right place without opening a single book.

Setting Up Your Shelf

1. Decide on an order, such as grouping enchanted books together and keeping written books separate, or sorting alphabetically by title.

2. Slot the books into the shelf in that order.

3. Aim across the shelf and read each tooltip to confirm the arrangement matches your plan. If a book is in the wrong slot, swap it with the correct one.

Maintaining the Order

Whenever you add a new book, hover over it after placing it to double-check its title and type. If you store many books, inspect the shelf periodically and re-sort any that were placed in a hurry. Since the tooltip appears just by looking, you never need to remove books to audit your collection, which keeps your library tidy and easy to navigate.
