Using the Book of Dragons for Progression

Understanding the Book

The Book of Dragons is your primary guide through the mod's content and lore. It tracks your progress, documents discovered dragons, and provides essential information about taming, breeding, and dragon behavior.

Unlocking Information

As you encounter and tame different dragon species, the book automatically records them. New entries unlock as you progress, revealing lore, habitat information, and specific taming requirements for each dragon type. Read entries carefully to learn optimal strategies for each species.

Using the Book for Guidance

Consult the book when you're unsure about a dragon's needs or behavior. It serves as both a progression tracker and a practical reference. Some advanced mechanics and rare dragons may only become available after sufficient progression through the book.

Advancement

Complete the book's objectives to unlock new content and dragon species. The book guides you from basic taming toward more complex mechanics like breeding and discovering legendary dragons. Keep the book in your inventory as a constant companion.
