Taming Your First Dragon

Preparation

Before attempting to tame a dragon, you'll need to locate one in the world. Dragons spawn in specific biomes and can be found roaming naturally. Approach carefully—wild dragons are hostile until tamed.

Taming Process

To tame a dragon, you must first gain its trust. Equip the appropriate food item for the dragon species you're targeting. Different dragons prefer different foods based on their diet and behavior.

Approach the dragon slowly and feed it by right-clicking. You may need to feed it multiple times before it becomes tame. Watch for visual indicators—tamed dragons typically display a collar or similar marking.

After Taming

Once tamed, your dragon will follow you and can be ridden. Right-click to mount, and use standard movement controls to fly. Your dragon's loyalty is tied to continued care and feeding. Store extra food in your inventory to maintain your bond during long adventures.

Keep your dragon safe from other hostile mobs and environmental hazards. A well-fed, happy dragon is a reliable companion.
