Blur Plus lets you control exactly how heavy the background blur is, so you can match it to your taste or your monitor. Some players want a barely-there softness; others want a bold frosted panel. Here is how to dial it in.
Finding the Strength Control
1. Open Options from the main menu or the pause screen.
2. Navigate to the Blur Plus settings entry.
3. Find the blur strength slider. It typically ranges from a light blur to a strong blur.
4. Drag it and watch the menu background update in real time.
Picking a Good Value
- Low strength: keeps text and icons crisp, good for readability on small screens.
- Medium strength: the balanced default look most players prefer.
- High strength: a dramatic frosted effect, best on large displays or when you want menus to really pop.
If the blur feels laggy on a weak machine, lower the strength or disable it entirely — the mod is lightweight, but heavier blur costs a little more to render. Your setting is saved automatically, so you only need to set it once per profile.
