How to Install and Enable the Blue Ancient Debris Texture
Placing the Pack
This is a resource pack, so it goes in your resourcepacks folder rather than your mods folder. Locate your Minecraft installation directory, open the resourcepacks folder, and drop the pack file inside. If the folder does not exist yet, launch the game once so it is created.
Enabling It In-Game
- Open Options, then Resource Packs.
- Find the pack in the Available list on the left and move it to the Selected list on the right.
- Make sure it sits above any other pack that also edits ancient debris textures, otherwise the other pack will override the blue color.
- Click Done. The change applies immediately; you do not need to restart the game.
Verifying It Works
Load a world, travel to the Nether, and look at any ancient debris you have already mined or placed. It should now appear light blue. If it still looks vanilla, check the pack order and confirm no other pack is overriding the same texture.
Notes
Because this only changes textures, it works in singleplayer and on servers where you are allowed to use your own resource packs, and it does not affect gameplay or recipes.
