Decorate with Specialty Brick Variants

Exploring Brick Options

Blocks + Mod significantly expands your brick-building possibilities. You can craft bricks from unconventional materials: Cactus bricks for a sandy, desert aesthetic; Magma bricks for fiery, volcanic builds; Coral bricks for underwater or tropical themes; Sculk bricks for dark, eerie structures; and Obsidian bricks for a sleek, dangerous look. Additionally, polished brick versions of Granite, Diorite, Andesite, and Basalt provide refined stone alternatives.

Crafting and Application

Each brick type requires its source material arranged in the crafting table. Once obtained, use them as you would standard bricks—for walls, decorative patterns, or accent features. Sculk bricks work particularly well for benches and seating areas, as shown in mod screenshots.

Design Strategies

Mix brick types to create visual interest: combine Magma and Obsidian bricks for a volcanic fortress, or Coral and Sculk bricks for an underwater ruin aesthetic. Use polished stone variants as flooring or trim to complement your brick walls. Terracotta and Concrete brick variants add colorful options for more vibrant builds.
