Master Your Magic and Cast Spells in Combat

Equip and Select Your Active Spells

Hold R to open your spell wheel. This displays all the spells you've learned or unlocked. Select which magic abilities you want to have active during combat. You can switch between spells at any time by opening the wheel again.

Cast Spells and Fight Enemies

Press Z to cast your currently equipped spell. Use this to attack bandits, mobs, and other enemies across the map. Each spell consumes mana or energy—manage your resources carefully during extended fights.

Unlock New Spells Through Combat

As you fight enemies, you'll randomly unlock new spells and abilities. This happens especially when your health is low, so don't flee immediately when wounded. Defeating more enemies increases your chances of discovering powerful new magic.

Upgrade Your Magic Mastery

Open your Grimoire menu (press G) and allocate skill points to increase your magic mastery and stats. Higher mastery makes your spells stronger and more efficient.
