Creating Steve and Alex Companions
You can transform hostile zombies and skeletons into friendly human allies named Steve and Alex. To do this, you'll need Nether Star fragments—special items obtained from the Nether. Use these fragments on undead mobs to convert them into peaceful human companions that will follow you.
This mechanic lets you recruit helpers for your adventures without fighting. Gather fragments from Nether Ruins or other Nether structures, then seek out zombies and skeletons to turn them into your allies. Once converted, Steve and Alex become permanent companions ready to assist you throughout your journey.
