Biodiverse Mod adds 26 tameable animals across different biomes. To tame pets like cheetahs, use raw meat. Once tamed, many animals become combat companions that fight alongside you.

For mounts, you can saddle rideable animals like rhinos and ostriches. Rhinos charge through enemies, while ostriches run at high speed—even across water.

Start by exploring your biome's native animals. Savanna regions have lions and cheetahs; oceans contain whales and beluga whales that follow you like dolphins. Forest areas have bears and elk. Each animal offers different benefits: some provide crafting materials, others serve as pets or mounts, and a few grant special effects when nearby, like capybaras weakening hostile mobs or blue whales boosting your health regeneration.
