Speed Up Complex Crafting with High-Core Accelerators

Understanding Crafting Accelerators

Bigger AE2 adds multi-core crafting accelerators (4-core, 16-core, 64-core, 256-core, and 1024-core) that dramatically reduce the time needed to complete large crafting jobs. More cores = faster processing.

Installation Guide

1. Craft your desired accelerator (start with 4-core or 16-core for most setups).

2. Place it adjacent to your ME Crafting Unit or Molecular Assembler chamber.

3. Connect it to your ME network via ME Cable—it will automatically integrate.

4. Test with a complex recipe (like enchanted tools or circuit components) to see speed improvements.

5. Add more accelerators around your crafting setup for exponential speed gains.

Optimization Tips

  • Higher-core accelerators consume more power; ensure your power generation scales accordingly.
  • Use 1024-core accelerators for bottleneck recipes that slow down your entire production line.
  • Combine accelerators with multiple Molecular Assemblers to parallelize crafting jobs.
  • Monitor your ME network's CPU usage—accelerators improve speed but don't reduce CPU load.
