How to Organize Your Storage with Labels and Signs

Labels and Signs from Bibliocraft help you identify chest contents at a glance, preventing the frustration of searching through dozens of storage containers.

Using Labels

Labels are small, attachable name tags for your storage. Craft them and right-click on a chest, barrel, or other container to attach a label. You can then edit the text to describe contents—write "Diamonds," "Building Blocks," or "Potions" so you know exactly what's stored inside.

Placing Signs

Wooden Signs work similarly but are larger and more visible from a distance. Place them on walls or above storage areas, then right-click to edit the text. Use multiple lines to create organized categories.

Organization Strategy

Create a color-coded system: use different wood types for signs matching different storage types. For example, oak signs for food, spruce for tools, and birch for building materials. This visual system works even faster than reading text. Combine labels with Clipboards to maintain an inventory checklist of what you're storing and how much you have.
