Getting Started with Tungsten Gear

Tungsten equipment represents the final armor and tool tier, built on top of Netherite. Begin by mining Tungsten Ore in the deepslate layer deep underground, then smelt it into powder and combine the powder into ingots at a crafting table.

To upgrade your Netherite gear, you'll need a Tungsten Upgrade Template (found in loot chests across Strongholds, Ancient Cities, and other structures) plus a Tungsten Ingot. Combine these with your Netherite equipment at a Smithing Table.

Tungsten armor offers superior toughness and durability but reduces movement speed by 5% per piece worn. Tools mine slightly slower and have lower enchantability to balance their increased durability. The mod also includes edible items like Tungsten Slop and Jerky that provide temporary buffs with trade-offs, plus a Heavy armor enchantment for additional knockback resistance.
