How to Grow Nether Fungi and Mushrooms with Withered Bone Meal

Preparing Your Nylium

Withered Bone Meal works exclusively on Warped Nylium and Crimson Nylium blocks. Find or create these blocks in the Nether, or bring them to your base.

Applying Bone Meal

Craft Withered Bone Meal from Withered Bones (1 bone yields 3 meal). Right-click Warped or Crimson Nylium with Withered Bone Meal in hand. The block will generate nearby plants.

What Grows

Each application has a chance to spawn:

• Warped or Crimson Fungus (most common)
• Brown or Red Mushrooms (less common)
• Wither Roses (rare)

Keep applying Withered Bone Meal to the same nylium blocks repeatedly to farm these plants. Wither Roses are particularly valuable since they're needed for brewing Potions of Decay.
