How to Brew Potions of Decay

Gathering Ingredients

You need Wither Roses and Awkward Potions. Wither Roses can be farmed using Withered Bone Meal on Nylium (see farming guide), or crafted by combining a Withered Bone Block with a Poppy.

Brew Awkward Potions normally using a Nether Wart and water bottles in a brewing stand.

Brewing the Potion

Place your Awkward Potion in a brewing stand. Add a Wither Rose to the ingredient slot. The result is a Potion of Decay, which inflicts the Wither effect when consumed.

Variants

You can convert Potions of Decay into splash and lingering variants using Gunpowder and Dragon's Breath respectively, just like any other potion. These variants are useful for combat and area denial.
