Earning the "A Throwaway Joke" Advancement with Better Trident Return

What the advancement requires

The "A Throwaway Joke" advancement is tied to throwing a trident. With Better Trident Return installed, you can earn it the same way as in vanilla, but the trident's return behavior makes repeated throws smoother because it comes back to your chosen slot.

Steps to earn it

1. Obtain a trident. Tridents drop from drowned mobs, so farm drowned in ocean or river biomes if you do not have one.

2. Optionally enchant it with Loyalty so it returns to you. This is not strictly required for the advancement, but it makes the throw recoverable.

3. Place the trident in a hotbar slot you want it to return to.

4. Select the trident and throw it at a block, mob, or into the air.

5. The advancement should trigger on the throw.

Why the mod helps here

If you are throwing a Loyalty trident repeatedly to practice or to complete related goals, the mod keeps it in the same slot each time, so you do not have to hunt for it in your inventory. If the origin slot is full on return, it still falls back to the first available slot, so you never lose track of it entirely.

Combine this with a drowned farm to get a trident quickly, then throw it once to claim the advancement.
