Create a Location-Based Quest

Setting Up the Quest

Location-based quests require players to visit a specific coordinate or area. Start by opening the quest editor and creating a new quest. Give it a name and description that hints at where players should go.

Adding the Location Task

Add a task of type "Location" or "Visit Location." You'll need to specify the target coordinates (X, Y, Z) where players must travel. Some versions allow you to set a radius—a larger radius makes the quest easier to complete, while a smaller one requires precision.

Testing and Rewards

Once you've set the coordinates, test by traveling to that location in-game. The quest should detect your presence automatically. Attach a reward—this could be items, a loot container, or a scoreboard value increase. Consider adding a quest description that gives players a hint about the location without spoiling the exact coordinates. You can also chain multiple location quests together to create a guided tour or treasure hunt across your world.
