Use the Huaqiang Melon Knife for Harvesting

Knife Mechanics

The Huaqiang Melon Knife is a specialized tool for cutting melon blocks quickly. Use it to harvest melons faster than with standard tools, making large-scale melon farming more efficient.

Obtaining Unripe Melons

When you cut melon blocks with the knife, there's a chance to obtain unripe melon variants. Unripe melons have a small chance to cause hunger when consumed, adding risk to eating them raw. If you want to guarantee unripe drops, apply the Unguaranteed Ripe Enchantment to your knife.

Combat Application

Beyond farming, the knife functions as a weapon. When you hit entities with it, there's a chance to inflict bleeding, giving it utility in combat situations.

Farming Strategy

Use the knife on your melon farm to harvest quickly while building up a supply of unripe melons for brewing or experimentation. The bleeding effect makes it useful for both farming and exploration, combining tool and weapon functionality in one item.
