Getting Started with Fish Tanks

Begin by crafting an Aquarist Table, your main workstation for all fish-keeping activities. Catch fish from the world by right-clicking them, then store them safely in Fish Bags in your inventory.

Build your aquarium using special glass blocks that connect automatically into any shape. Place your caught fish inside and decorate with plants, rocks, corals, amethysts, and custom structures like sunken ships or towers.

Feed your pets using special food containers crafted at the Aquarist Table—they hold enough meals for several days. As your fish are fed and cared for, they'll drop eggs over time. Crack these eggs at your Aquarist Table to receive rewards, with rarer eggs containing better loot. Visit an Aquarist villager in plains villages to trade for additional supplies and decorations.
