How to Use Custom Sky Textures With Better End Sky Mod

Where the Textures Come From

The mod does not include its own artwork. It reads End sky textures from whatever resource pack you have enabled, which means you can swap the look of your End sky just by changing packs — or by editing the textures yourself.

Swapping and Editing Skies

1. Enable a resource pack that contains End sky textures and place it at the top of your pack list.

2. Reload resources with the in-game reload key or by toggling the pack off and on. The End sky updates without restarting.

3. To make your own, open the pack folder and find the sky texture files it uses for the End. Replace them with your own image at the same resolution and file format.

4. Keep the image dimensions identical to the original. A different size can stretch or fail to tile correctly across the sky dome.

5. Back up the original file before editing so you can restore it if the result looks wrong.

6. Test in the End, looking in several directions. Sky textures wrap around the dome, so seams or repetition are easiest to spot near the horizon.

Because the mod is client-side, your custom sky is purely visual and only appears for you — perfect for personalizing your own End without affecting anyone else.
