How to Combine Better End Sky Mod With the Better End Mod
Why They Pair Well
Better End Sky Mod is client-side and only changes how the End sky is drawn. The Better End mod changes the End's terrain, biomes and blocks. Because they touch different things, they can run together without conflict — the sky mod simply makes the world underneath look better.
Getting a Cohesive Look
1. Install both, then launch the game and confirm the Better End biomes generate normally. The sky mod should not alter terrain, mobs or block behavior.
2. Pick a sky resource pack whose color palette matches the Better End biomes you spend time in. Cooler, darker skies suit the deeper End biomes; brighter skies suit the outer islands.
3. If a biome looks washed out, adjust your brightness or gamma slightly rather than swapping packs — the renderer draws the sky at full strength and bright terrain can clash with a very dark dome.
4. On a server, only you need the sky mod. Other players without it see the vanilla End sky while you see the enhanced one, and nothing breaks.
5. Keep the sky mod updated alongside Better End so that any changes to how the End is rendered stay compatible.
The result is a fully reimagined End where both the ground and the sky are custom, with no gameplay side effects.
