What Are Aliases?

Most dog breeds in Better Dogs have shorter alternative names you can use in Name Tags. These aliases work identically to full breed names and are useful for quick naming.

Common Aliases

• Border Collie: bc, Collie
• Labrador Retriever: Lab, Labrador
• Golden Retriever: GR
• German Shepherd: GSD, GShepherd, GS
• Shiba Inu: Shiba, Inu
• Australian Shepherd: AShepherd
• Dachshund: Teckel, Dackel
• Dobermann: Doberman, DP
• Cavalier King Charles Spaniel: KC, King Charles
• Great Dane: GD

Easter Egg

Rename a Name Tag to "Walter" and apply it to a tamed wolf for a special Bull Terrier variant.
