Using Emissive Blocks

The mod includes light-emitting variants of each colored block. These blocks produce their own light without requiring torches, lanterns, or other light sources nearby.

Setup Steps

1. Build your backdrop using the emissive colored blocks instead of regular ones

2. The blocks will glow automatically—no additional light placement needed

3. Position your subject in front of the emissive backdrop

4. Add separate lighting only for your subject if needed

Benefits

Emissive blocks eliminate shadows on your backdrop, creating a clean, uniform color for chroma keying. They also reduce the number of light sources you need to manage, simplifying your recording setup and reducing lag. The glow is consistent and won't flicker, making post-production color removal more reliable.
