Check the Pack Is Actually Selected
A pack sitting in the Available column does nothing. Open Options, then Resource Packs, and make sure Better Bubbles is in the Selected column on the right. If it keeps sliding back, the pack file may be corrupt or in the wrong format. Re-download it and place the file directly in the resourcepacks folder without nesting it inside an extra folder.
Resolve Conflicts With Other Packs
If another resource pack also edits the bubble or HUD textures and sits above Better Bubbles in the list, that pack wins and you will not see the new bubbles. Drag Better Bubbles to the top of the Selected list, or remove the conflicting pack. HUD-focused packs and full texture overhauls are the usual culprits.
Rule Out Mods and Shaders
Some HUD mods redraw the air bar entirely, bypassing vanilla textures, so a resource pack cannot affect them. If you use such a mod, disable its custom bubble rendering or accept that it overrides the pack. Shaders generally do not touch the HUD, so they are rarely the cause. After any change, leave and re-enter the world or press F3+T to reload resources without restarting.
