What Happens to Your Backpack on Death

When you die, your equipped backpack drops at your feet as if you had placed it in the world. You can pick it up again and re-equip it.

Steps:

1. Die while wearing a backpack

2. Locate your death point

3. Pick up the dropped backpack from the ground

4. Equip it in your back slot to restore access to your stored items

Decorated Pot Death Mechanics

If you're wearing a Decorated Pot when you die, the contents behave differently:

• Items that stack to 64 (like dirt, stone, or crops) will drop on the floor as normal stacks
• Items that don't stack to 64 (like Lava Buckets or Ender Pearls) will spawn but delete after 72+ stacks accumulate

To avoid losing unstackable items, empty your pot before entering dangerous situations, or retrieve dropped items quickly after death.
