Planning Your Layout

Before placing lights, visualize where you need illumination. Invisible lights work best when distributed strategically—place them above ceilings, inside walls, or beneath floors where they won't be seen but will still cast light into your spaces.

Placement Strategy

1. Hold your invisible light item to see existing light sources

2. Identify dark areas that need coverage

3. Place invisible lights in hidden locations: inside solid blocks, above suspended ceilings, or behind decorative walls

4. Use shift-scroll to adjust each light's level based on its distance from the area it illuminates

Testing and Refinement

After placing your network, walk through your build and observe the lighting. Dark corners may need additional lights or higher levels. Brightly lit areas might benefit from reduced light levels. Adjust as needed until the illumination feels natural and complete.

This approach eliminates the need for visible torches while maintaining full control over your build's appearance.
