The Crack Hammer is your key to maximizing metal production. Instead of smelting ore blocks directly, you can crush them into powder to yield double the metal.

How to Crush Ores

1. Obtain a Crack Hammer by crafting it (check your crafting recipes for the exact materials needed).

2. Mine an ore block from the world—this works with any of the mod's metal ores like copper, tin, silver, lead, zinc, nickel, or platinum.

3. Right-click the ore block with your Crack Hammer in hand. The ore will break and drop two piles of metal powder instead of a single ore block.

4. Smelt the powder in a furnace to convert it into ingots.

Bonus: Crushing Other Items

You can also crush items on the ground. Drop any item, then right-click the block directly underneath it with the Crack Hammer to pulverize it. This technique works beyond ores and can be useful for processing other materials.

This doubling effect makes the Crack Hammer essential for any player looking to scale up their metal production efficiently.
