Crush Gravel into Sand with the Gravel Mill

Understanding the Gravel Mill

The Gravel Mill is a secondary processing block designed specifically for converting gravel into sand. Unlike the Basalt Crusher, it doesn't consume jaw liners—instead, it uses mill rods as its consumable component.

Operating the Mill

Place the Gravel Mill in your setup and insert mill rods. Feed gravel into the block. The mill will process the gravel and output sand over time. Mill rods will wear down with use and need replacement.

Workflow Integration

Use the Gravel Mill as a second stage in your processing chain. Run basalt through the Basalt Crusher to get gravel, then feed that gravel into the Gravel Mill to convert it to sand. This gives you fine control over your gravel-to-sand ratio.

Alternatively, if you already have gravel from other sources (mining, mob drops, or other mods), the Gravel Mill lets you convert it without needing basalt at all. Keep mill rods stocked for continuous operation.
