How to Build and Edit With Baritone's Builder Commands

Worldedit-Style Operations

Baritone includes builder features that mimic common WorldEdit actions, letting you fill, clear, and shape regions. First define a selection: stand at one corner and run #sel 1, then move to the opposite corner and run #sel 2. Baritone remembers the cuboid between them.

Common Builder Commands

  • #sel cleararea removes all blocks inside the selection.
  • #sel fill <block> fills the selection with a block.
  • #sel replace <from> <to> swaps one block type for another inside the selection.
  • #sel copy and #sel paste copy and paste the selected region.
  • #sel undo reverts the last builder action.

Replace <block> with a valid block name, such as stone or glass. Baritone will path your character around and place or break blocks to realize the operation.

Practical Workflow

Builder operations run through your client, so you must have the required blocks in your inventory for fills and pastes. Start with small selections to confirm behavior before scaling up. Use #sel undo if something goes wrong. Because Baritone moves your character physically, large operations take time and consume hunger — plan accordingly. Combine builder commands with #goto to reposition between edits.
