Viewing Your Crops in 3D

Enable the Resource Pack

Once installed, activate Barebones 3D Crops in your resource pack settings. Open the pause menu, navigate to Options → Resource Packs, and move the pack from the "Available" list to the "Selected" list on the right side.

Observe Crop Growth Stages

Plant crops like wheat, carrots, potatoes, or beetroots in farmland. As they grow through their natural stages, you'll notice the 3D models become more detailed and visually distinct at each stage. The barebones aesthetic means the models remain clean and minimalist—no excessive detail, just enough depth to make crops feel more tangible.

Check Different Plant Types

The pack enhances not just food crops but also stems (like melon and pumpkin vines), fungi, and various bushes. Walk through different biomes or your farm to see how the 3D treatment applies across plant varieties. The visual improvements are subtle but consistent, maintaining Minecraft's vanilla feel while adding dimensional character to what would otherwise be flat sprites.
