Sharing and Showing Off Banner Flag Designs in Multiplayer

Building a display others can see

Banner Flags supports multiplayer and survival, so flags you place are visible to everyone on the server. To make a design readable, mount it on a block face that faces the path players actually walk. Use the four-direction placement to angle flags toward doorways, roads, or spawn points.

Coordinating with friends

Agree on a shared spot, such as a town square or base entrance, and have each player place their own banner as a flag there. Since multiple flags can share a block, you can cluster everyone's designs together as a group banner wall. Break the supporting block to retrieve a banner if someone wants to swap theirs out.

Copying a design you like

When you see a banner you want to reproduce, note its colors and pattern layers, then recreate it at a crafting station using the same sequence. Once crafted, place it as a flag wherever you like. This lets you spread a popular design across a server without needing the original item.

Tips

  • Keep a chest of spare banners near your display for quick swaps.
  • Face flags toward the main approach direction for maximum visibility.
  • Retrieve flags before remodeling so designs are not lost.
