How to Display Multiple Flags on the Same Block

Understanding multi-flag placement

The Banner Flags mod lets you put more than one flag on a single block, so you are not limited to one banner per surface. This is useful for decorating pillars, gateposts, and shop fronts where you want several designs clustered together.

Placing flags one by one

Start by placing your first banner on a block face as usual. Then, with another banner in hand, target the same block and place again. The mod arranges the flags around the block so they do not all overlap in the same spot. Continue adding banners until the block shows the arrangement you want.

Choosing directions

Because flags can face four directions, plan which side each banner should be readable from. Place each new flag while looking from the direction you want it to face. If a flag lands awkwardly, break the supporting block to recover all the banners, then rebuild the arrangement in a cleaner order.

Tips

  • Group related designs, such as a team color plus a logo, on one block.
  • Use multi-flag blocks as focal points at entrances or spawn areas.
  • Test arrangements in creative first, then rebuild in survival.
