Using Balm Mod With Multiple Mods
Balm as a Dependency
Balm Mod is designed to work with many mods simultaneously. You only need one copy of Balm installed, even if multiple mods depend on it.
Installation Best Practice
1. Install Balm Mod once in your mods folder
2. Install all other mods that require it
3. Launch the game—Balm will load first, then dependent mods will load after
Version Compatibility
Ensure Balm's version matches your Minecraft version and mod loader. If you have mods for different versions, you'll need separate Balm versions for each installation.
No Conflicts
Balm doesn't conflict with other library mods or regular mods. It's designed to coexist peacefully in modpacks with dozens of other mods.
Modpack Creators
If building a modpack, include Balm once. It will automatically support all mods in the pack that need it, reducing file size and load times compared to bundling duplicate code.
