Troubleshooting Mods That Require Balm
If a Mod Won't Load
Some mods depend on Balm Mod to function. If you see crashes or missing mod errors:
1. Verify Balm Mod is in your mods folder
2. Ensure it's the correct version for your Minecraft version
3. Check that both Balm and the dependent mod use the same loader (Forge or Fabric)
Common Issues
Mod loads but features are broken: Balm may be outdated. Update it to match your other mods' versions.
Crash on startup: Check your log for "Balm" errors. If Balm failed to load, the dependent mod will crash immediately.
Mod not appearing in list: If a mod requires Balm but Balm isn't installed, the mod may fail silently. Add Balm to fix this.
Next Steps
If problems persist after installing Balm:
1. Check mod compatibility (version mismatches)
2. Review the crash log for specific error messages
3. Ensure you're using the right mod loader version
