Prepare Your Yurt

Before using the bag, build or gather the structure you want to store. The bag captures a cube-shaped area, so plan accordingly. Make sure all chests, furnaces, and other containers are filled with what you want to keep—their contents will be preserved.

Use the Bag

1. Craft or obtain a Bag of Yurting

2. Stand near the center of your yurt structure

3. Right-click on a block at the bottom center of the area you want to store

4. The bag will capture all blocks in a cube around that point

The area of effect extends equally in all directions from your target block. A default bag (radius 5) captures an 11×11×11 cube. All block data, including furnace contents and chest inventories, is preserved inside the bag.

Retrieve Your Yurt

Right-click with the bag again to unload it. The blocks will reconstruct in the same cube pattern around where you click. Make sure the space is clear and that no blocks are blacklisted from placement in your world.
