Stopping the Wither From Griefing Your Server or Friends' Builds

Why This Matters on Multiplayer

On a shared world, one Wither fight can erase hours of building. Bad Wither No Cookie prevents that by removing the Wither's block-breaking behavior entirely, so a stray boss fight won't leave craters in spawn, shops, or farms.

Steps to Protect a Shared World

1. Confirm the mod is installed on the server and on every client that connects — behavior should match for all players.

2. Decide where Wither fights are allowed. Even with block destruction off, the Wither is still lethal, so designate an arena away from important builds.

3. Tell your players the rule: they can summon the Wither, but only in the arena. Since builds are safe, the main risk left is player deaths and dropped loot.

4. If you also run protection plugins or claim systems, keep them — they handle player-vs-player and container issues that this mod does not touch.

What Still Needs Attention

The mod does not stop the Wither from killing players, mobs, or pets, and it does not prevent fire or other unrelated damage sources. Treat it purely as build protection. Pair it with clear arena rules and a way to recover items after death so a boss fight stays fun instead of costly.
