Boost Enchantment Levels Using the Enchanting Table

Set Up Your Enchanting Boost

Place the item you want to upgrade into the main slot of an enchanting table (the left slot). Instead of using lapis lazuli in the lapis slot (the right slot), place a matching lapis tool or armor piece there instead.

For example:

• To upgrade a diamond pickaxe, use a lapis pickaxe as the booster
• To upgrade a diamond chestplate, use a lapis chestplate as the booster

Select Level 30 for Higher Tiers

With a matching lapis piece in the lapis slot, select the level 30 enchantment option. This increases your chances of rolling a higher-tier version of that item's natural enchantment compared to normal lapis.

The lapis booster item is not consumed—you can reuse it multiple times. This method works best when you already have a base enchantment on your target item and want to push it to level 2, 3, or higher.
