How to Obtain Azalea Wood and Create Planks

Finding Azalea Trees

Azalea trees spawn naturally in certain biomes within the Overworld. Look for small flowering trees with distinctive pink or white blossoms. These are most commonly found in lush cave biomes and forest variants.

Harvesting and Processing

1. Chop down an azalea tree using any axe (wood axe works fine, but any tier is acceptable)

2. Collect the azalea wood logs that drop

3. Open your crafting menu and place one azalea wood log in any slot

4. Azalea planks will appear in the output — take them

5. One log produces four planks, just like vanilla wood types

Storage and Use

Azalea planks can be stacked up to 64 and are used as the base ingredient for all azalea wood furniture and building blocks. Keep a supply of planks in your inventory when you plan to craft doors, trapdoors, fences, or other wooden items. You can also use azalea planks as regular building blocks for construction projects.
