Breeding Axolotl Villagers Effectively

Understanding Villager Breeding with This Pack

The resource pack only changes how villagers look—it doesn't affect breeding mechanics at all. Your axolotl villagers breed exactly like normal villagers.

Steps for Successful Breeding

1. Prepare a breeding area – Create a separate space with beds and workstations. The pack doesn't change what villagers need to breed.

2. Ensure sufficient beds – Place one bed per villager you want to breed, plus extras for baby villagers. Villagers need access to beds to enter breeding mode.

3. Provide food – Give your axolotl villagers bread, potatoes, or carrots. They'll share food with each other and enter love mode.

4. Add workstations – Place profession blocks (lecterns for librarians, composters for farmers, etc.) so villagers can restock and maintain their professions.

5. They'll grow into adults over time.

6. Separate as needed – Move baby villagers to other areas once they mature to prevent overcrowding.

The visual change to axolotl models makes breeding farms more visually interesting without changing any underlying game mechanics.
