Understanding Mob Redesigns

Avalon 32x gives all mobs new fantasy-themed models and textures. Pigs become pink with muddy details, sheep stay white but gain more definition, and Nether mobs like Hoglins and Piglins receive dramatic 3D model upgrades. These changes are automatic once the pack is active.

Seeing Mobs at Their Best

1. Ensure you're in an area with good lighting—the pack's mob details show best in daylight or well-lit spaces

2. Approach mobs slowly to admire their new 3D models without startling them away

3. Visit the Nether to see the most dramatic redesigns; Endermen and Piglins have particularly detailed new looks

4. If mobs appear blocky or textures seem low-quality, verify OptiFine is running and Mipmap Levels is set to at least 2

Performance Note

The custom 3D mob models are more detailed than vanilla mobs. If you experience lag with many mobs on screen, reduce Entity Shadows in OptiFine or lower your render distance slightly. Most systems handle the pack's mob changes without issues.
