How to Change the AutoRun Keybind in Controls
Finding the AutoRun Keybind
AutoRun adds its own entry to the standard Minecraft Controls screen. To change the toggle key, open the game menu, go to Options, then Controls, then Key Binds. Scroll through the list until you find the AutoRun entries. The mod registers its toggle under a category named after the mod, so look for that section rather than the vanilla Movement category.
Rebinding the Toggle Key
Click the keybind you want to change, then press the new key you want to assign. The default toggle keys are O and P, but many players rebind to something easier to reach while their hand is on WASD, such as a side mouse button, R, or V. Avoid keys that conflict with other mods or with vanilla functions like inventory, drop, or chat. If a conflict exists, Minecraft will show the conflicting action in red so you can resolve it.
Rebinding Sprint Interaction
AutoRun uses your existing sprint key rather than adding a separate one, so you do not need to rebind anything for sprinting while auto-walking. Just make sure your sprint key is set to something comfortable, since you will tap it while auto-walking to sprint. After changing any keybind, close the Controls screen and test in a safe area before relying on it during travel.
