Configure Attribute Limits for Mod Compatibility

Understanding the Configuration File

AttributeFix creates attributefix.json in your config folder. Each attribute has three key settings: enabled, min, and max. Vanilla attributes are enabled by default, but attributes from other mods are disabled to prevent conflicts.

Enabling Mod Attributes Safely

1. Open attributefix.json

2. Search for the attribute you want to modify (it will have a mod namespace, like modname:attribute_name)

3. Change enabled from false to true

4. Adjust the max value under value if needed

5. Save and restart

Avoiding Conflicts

Only enable mod attributes if you're experiencing issues with those specific values being capped. Leaving unnecessary attributes disabled prevents potential conflicts with other mods that might handle their own limits. Test one attribute at a time to identify which changes actually fix your problem.
