Craft Your First Giant Sword

Giant Swords require six pieces of a single material plus a handle. Choose your material based on what you have available: wood is easiest early-game, while iron and diamond offer better durability and damage.

Crafting at the Workbench

Place your six material pieces and handle into the crafting grid following the Giant Sword pattern. The exact layout matters—typically the material forms the blade while the handle occupies the center or bottom slot. Check your crafting menu for the correct arrangement.

Using Your Giant Sword

Once crafted, equip your Giant Sword like a normal weapon. Unlike regular swords, Giant Swords can block incoming attacks by holding right-click, similar to shield mechanics. This makes them excellent for aggressive defense during combat. They deal more damage per hit than standard swords, making them ideal for taking down tougher mobs. You can switch between attacking and blocking mid-combat, giving you flexibility in how you approach dangerous encounters.
