Where to Find Fragments

Weathered Fragments drop from hostile mobs when you defeat them in combat. Any hostile mob can be a source, so you're not limited to specific enemy types. The more mobs you defeat, the more fragments you'll accumulate.

Farming Strategy

Set up a mob farm or visit areas with high hostile mob density at night. Dark caves, nether fortresses, and the Nether itself are excellent grinding locations. Since fragments drop on any kill, focus on areas where you can defeat mobs quickly and repeatedly.

Keep your combat gear upgraded and bring healing potions for extended farming sessions. The fragments stack in your inventory, so you can collect large quantities before returning to base.

Once you have enough fragments, you'll combine them to craft the Arcane Hilt catalyst, which is essential for starting the weapon awakening ritual.
